Properly sorted 997.2 Carrera Cabriolet in the classic Guards Red over Sand Beige combination. This is the updated 997.2 platform with Porsche's DFI (Direct Fuel Injection) 3.6L flat-six making 345 hp — no IMS bearing concerns, no bore scoring issues that plagued the earlier 997.1/M97 engines. Paired with the 7-speed PDK, which remains one of the best dual-clutch gearboxes ever put in a production car.
The car comes with a factory color-matched hardtop — a rare and expensive find on its own ($3,000–5,000+ when you can find one). This gives you the versatility of a coupe silhouette in winter and open-top driving the rest of the year.
I'm the second owner. I acquired the car last year and invested significantly in addressing deferred maintenance and bringing it to fully sorted condition — all work performed by BRRacing and Rennshop, both well-known Bay Area Porsche specialists. Selling because I now have two small children and the 997.2 Cabriolet does not accommodate ISOFIX car seat anchors or top tether hooks — so the car simply doesn't work for my family anymore.

Aftermarket camera mounted discretely above the license plate, feeding to the factory PCM screen with parking guidelines. Adds genuine convenience the factory never offered on this generation.
The factory carpet door inserts were replaced with color-matched Sand Beige leather by Sidco Upholstery. A subtle but transformative change that gives the interior a cleaner, more refined appearance consistent with the rest of the cabin.
